Epoxy self-leveling flooring refers to a high-performance, aesthetically pleasing flooring system formed by multi-layer coating (primer, intermediate coat, topcoat) to create a dense, glossy protective film with excellent antibacterial, dustproof, and chemical corrosion resistance.

Epoxy Self-Leveling Flooring Reference Procedure:

1. Substrate Preparation: The original floor surface must be ground, ensuring it is flat, dust-free, solid, and thoroughly dry.

2. Application of Epoxy Primer: After uniformly mixing the high-solids primer, apply it evenly to the substrate using a trowel. The topcoat can be applied approximately 4-8 hours later.

3. Application of Epoxy Mortar Intermediate Coat: Mix the intermediate coat A/B components according to the specified ratio. Add the required amount of quartz sand and quartz powder and mix thoroughly. Apply evenly to the primer using a notched trowel. The topcoat can be applied approximately 12 hours later.

4. Intermediate Coat Grinding and Finishing: After the intermediate coat has hardened for 12 hours, inspect the surface and repair any defects. Then, use a grinding machine to roughen the surface and clean it thoroughly.

5. Application of Epoxy Putty Layer: Small cracks in the substrate and damaged areas of the floor should be filled with epoxy resin.

6. Application of Epoxy Self-Leveling Topcoat: Mix the topcoat and hardener according to the specified ratio. Apply with a roller, using a "+" pattern to ensure even distribution of the coating.

8. After the topcoat is completely dry, personnel can enter after 48 hours, light machinery can enter after seven days, and the best results are achieved after 28 days.

 

 

 

① Epoxy self-leveling flooring is not suitable for outdoor use;

② The prepared primer material should be evenly applied to the substrate, and the coating process should be continuous without any missed areas.

③ When epoxy self-leveling flooring is applied to a concrete base surface, the concrete base should preferably be cast in one go, and its strength grade should not be less than C25.

④ Foot traffic is permitted after 7-10 days of curing, and the floor can bear weight after 28 days when it reaches its design strength.

⑤ A trial mix should be conducted before construction, and large-scale application should only proceed after the trial mix is ​​deemed satisfactory.
