How To Maintain Diamond Tools

Diamond tools have the advantages of extremely high hardness and wear resistance, low friction coefficient, high elastic modulus, high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, and little affinity with non-ferrous metals. It can be used for precision machining of non-metallic hard and brittle materials such as graphite, high wear-resisting materials, composite materials, high silicon aluminum alloy and other ductile nonferrous metal materials. So how do you maintain diamond tools when using them?
1. When placing the diamond tool head on the clamp seat, be careful not to impact the grinding wheel surface.
2. During normal operation, it is strictly prohibited to change the running direction suddenly in reverse to prevent the composite bit from falling off.
3. In normal operation, there should be no air leakage in the main air path of the air compressor, and enough air volume and pressure should be ensured to prolong the service time of the diamond composite bit.
4. If the diamond grinding wheel is not used immediately, it should be laid flat or hung up by the inner hole. Other items or feet should not be stacked on the flat saw blade, and attention should be paid to moisture-proof and corrosion prevention.
5. Do not "quench" hot dressing tools. In dry dressing, it is necessary to keep the interval between finishes long enough to cool the hot dressing tool.
6. The grinding wheel surface cannot be assumed to have ideal smoothness. At the beginning of dressing, find out the higher position of the grinding wheel, dressing.
7. The diamond tool head of a single point should not be vertically aligned with the center of the grinding wheel, and should generally be tilted.
