3.2 Wire saw cutting and mining stone process

3.2.1 Early preparations

(1) Mountain stripping: The stripping work is mainly to strip off the covering soil and weathered layer on the marble ore body, strip off interlayers, surrounding rocks, and broken marble that has no mining value due to the development of joints and fissures, so that the marble ore body is exposed. Get ready for mining work. Special attention should be paid to the protection of the ore body, and blasting vibration is not allowed to affect the integrity and agglomeration of stone materials. (2) Construction work platform: After the marble is exposed, a platform suitable for the work of the wire saw machine must be excavated. The general width is 6 meters, the length is determined according to the mountain situation, and the height of the steps in the mining field is 5-10 meters. The excavation method generally adopts methods such as drilling and adding expansion agent, and blasting method can be used for granite, and the operation platform can be constructed by laying soil layer for the operation surface with relatively gentle mountain.

3.2.2 Preparation before mining

(1) drilling

Drilling is a key preparation work. If the hole is not drilled well, it will directly affect the penetration of the beaded rope, and affect the service life and cutting efficiency of the rope, so the drilling process is particularly important. To cut a large block, three holes must be drilled, namely one vertical hole and two horizontal holes. The three holes intersect at one point. If the three holes do not intersect at one point, it will be troublesome to perforate the diamond beaded rope, or even impossible to wear. It needs to be re-drilled, which reduces the production efficiency. Therefore, drilling must be carried out according to the actual situation and according to the operating procedures. The equipment used for drilling can be multifunctional rock drills, down-the-hole drills, manual rock drills, etc.

(2) Rope

The manual rope-threading method is adopted, that is, one end of the rope is fixed on a thin steel wire rope, and the other end of the thin steel wire rope is connected with a multi-strand soft wire (usually a wire for a pendant hammer), which is inserted through a hole, and the vertical surface can be flushed with water. The wire is punched out, and the horizontal surface is drawn out from another hole with an iron wire, and then a thin steel wire rope is brought out to lead out the wire saw.

(3) The wire saw machine is installed in place

After threading the rope, first lay the track of the equipment. The track should be parallel to the horizontal hole, and use a level to measure the levelness of the track plane and make it meet the requirements. Finally, lift the wire saw machine to the track, hang the wire saw, and turn it on. power supply. Due to the heavy weight of the equipment and the need to re-move the equipment after cutting a plane, any equipment such as mast crane, forklift, loader, and excavator can be used to move the saw machine;

(4) Connect the water source and install the cooling water pipe. Generally, two water pipes need to be configured, one is set at the entrance hole of the rope, and the other is set at the exit of the rope. The water inlet position and Water direction.

3.2.3 Stone cutting

When mining blocks with a wire saw, you must first cut the horizontal plane, and then cut the vertical plane, so as to ensure the smooth progress of the cutting. If the vertical surface is cut first, and then the horizontal surface is cut, it is easy to cause the stone to break and press the beaded rope, so that the motor idling and slipping will damage the rubber of the flywheel; more seriously, the wire saw will be scrapped.

The commonly used cutting methods in mining are primary slitting-pull over (detachment)-secondary slitting and shaping. The main purpose of a slitting is to cut out stones on the mountain. The size of the stones is determined by factors such as the size of the ore body, the handling capacity, and the utilization rate of the stone. Generally, it is 30-60M3. After cutting the stones, use a winch Or the loader separates the stone from the ore body and pulls it over on the working surface covered with gravel, and performs secondary cutting and shaping to cut out blocks with commercial value.
