Traditional resin-bonded diamond flexible polishing pads utilize a resin binder combined with diamond abrasive grains to form the working layer, providing both grinding capability and elasticity. However, due to manufacturing limitations, these pads offer lower cutting sharpness compared to metal-bonded pads and have a significantly shorter lifespan during coarse grinding operations.
This metal resin composite bond diamond Polishing Pads uses diamond metal abrasive particles embedded in resin abrasive particles. The traditional diamond polishing pad is formed by fully mixing diamond micro powder with resin micro powder and compressing it to generate an elastic and abrasive grain structure.
Conversely, metal-bonded pads are relatively rigid; when grinding hard, brittle materials, they are prone to causing edge chipping or surface cracking on stone or concrete.
To address these issues, HuiceTools developed a hybrid resin-metal bonded Diamond Grinding & Polishing Pads. By incorporating sintered diamond abrasive grains into the abrasive layer, we have significantly enhanced both the product's sharpness and its service life. This Polishing Pad combines the sharpness and durability of metal-bonded pads with the high elasticity and flexibility of resin-bonded pads-since the abrasive grains are embedded within the resin, the Polishing Pads does not damage stone or concrete surfaces during grinding, making it ideal for high-precision applications.
