We classify diamond wet polishing pads with diameters exceeding 8 inches as "large-diameter" pads. Common sizes on the market include 12, 14, and 16 inches. These large-diameter pads are designed for use with large planetary floor grinders, large automatic stone polishing machines, and heavy-duty floor renovation machines; they are not suitable for handheld angle grinders.

Equipment Compatibility
The machine's backing plate size must match the pad's center hole. Attachment is achieved via a hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing; ensure the backing plate is flat and free of protruding debris to prevent uneven pressure or pad breakage.
