Concrete Surface Grinding Diamond Cup Wheel
Concrete Surface Grinding Diamond Cup Wheel
A 125mm double row diamond cup grinding wheel built for large floor grinding machines, not for hand-held tools. The segments are high frequency silver welded to the steel body, which is what lets the wheel take continuous heavy load without losing a segment.

A Grinding Wheel, Not A Coating Stripper
If you are looking for a PCD shoe to lift epoxy or adhesive, this is the wrong part of the catalogue. This is a diamond cup wheel: it grinds the concrete itself. It smooths, shapes and removes stock from the slab, and it is built for machines that can hold a heavy wheel at speed for hour after hour.
Built for
Large grinding machines and floor grinders running a 125mm wheel under continuous load.
Not for
Light duty hand-held work, and not a substitute for a sintered wheel on soft, low-pressure jobs.
Why welding, not sintering
High frequency silver welding fixes each diamond segment to the body far more securely than a sintered bond on heavy removal work.
What This Wheel Delivers
- Aggressive diamond cup wheel fast material removal
- Long life diamond cup grinding wheel
- Heavy duty diamond cup wheel
- Smooth grinding diamond cup wheel
- Hard concrete diamond cup wheel
Taken together: this is a wholesale diamond cup wheel built as a long life model. It cuts hard concrete aggressively, holds a smooth finish, and stays on the machine through a full working day rather than being swapped out every few passes.
How The Wheel Is Built
High frequency silver welded segments
Each diamond segment is welded to the steel body with a high frequency silver weld. On a large grinding machine the weld is under constant load and heat, and this joint is what keeps the segment where it belongs.
Double row, 18 curved segments
Two rows of curved segments share the work. The outer row is the heavier set, the inner row follows up, and together they keep the wheel cutting flat instead of tracing one ring into the slab.
Air holes for cooler running
Air holes through the body let heat out and air in. A cooler wheel wears more slowly and leaves a more even finish, which matters most on long heavy passes.
Long life, heavy duty build
A durable and reliable material selection keeps the wheel working for a long time. It is designed as a long life model for large machines running hard concrete all day.
Product Details
Four views of the same wheel: segment profile, air hole pattern, arbor bore and segment layout. Replace each image with your own photograph of the finished wheel.
Curved segment profile - the working face that meets the concrete.
Air holes - heat leaves the body faster, so wear stays even.
22.23mm arbor bore - the mounting interface on the machine.
Double row layout - 18 segments sharing the load across the face.
Technical Data
What It Grinds
Double rows of curved segments suit hard, abrasive surfaces. In wet or dry conditions the wheel is used for smoothing and shaping as well as stock removal on the materials below.
Concrete
The main application: levelling, smoothing and removing stock from hard slabs.
Terrazzo
Grinding and preparing terrazzo surfaces before the polishing stages.
Stone
Smoothing and shaping natural stone where a heavy cup wheel is practical.
Bricks and masonry
Dressing brickwork and other masonry materials with a hard bond wheel.
Made For Large Grinding Machines
This is not a hand-held tool. It is specified for large grinding machines, where the wheel runs under continuous load and the weld is tested every minute of the shift. If you are buying for a light hand-held grinder, tell us and we will point you at the right wheel instead of selling you this one.
Large grinding machines
Continuous heavy load, high wheel speed, the working condition this wheel was specified for. The welded segment and the air holes are what let it survive the shift.
Hand-held grinders
Lighter machines that a sintered cup wheel handles perfectly well. This wheel will fit the 22.23mm arbor, but it is more wheel than that class of machine needs.
OEM Diamond Cup Grinding Wheel
Huice Tools manufactures diamond tools in Quanzhou and supplies this wheel as an OEM diamond cup grinding wheel for tool brands and distributors. As a wholesale diamond cup wheel manufacturer we work to your specification rather than pushing a fixed catalogue item: colour, logo and packing are all open, and the batch is made on our own line.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this wheel and a sintered cup wheel?
The segments on this wheel are high frequency silver welded to the body. A sintered wheel holds its diamond in a bond that is pressed and fired. On large machines taking continuous heavy load, the welded joint is the more secure construction, which is why this wheel is specified for that class of machine.
Will it fit my machine?
The arbor bore is 22.23mm and the diameter is 125mm (5 inch). It is specified for large grinding machines. Tell us the machine model and we will confirm before you order.
Can I use it on a hand-held grinder?
It will mount, but it is more wheel than a light hand-held grinder needs. This wheel is built for large machines under continuous load; for lighter work a sintered cup wheel is usually the better match.
What materials can it grind?
Concrete, terrazzo, stone, bricks and other masonry materials, in wet or dry conditions. It is used for smoothing, shaping and stock removal on hard surfaces.
Is it suitable for hard concrete?
Yes. Hard concrete is where it performs at its best, which is what the aggressive cutting and the long life build are there for.
Why are there holes in the body?
The air holes keep the wheel cooler during grinding. A cooler wheel wears more slowly and holds a more even finish, which is especially useful on long passes.
What is the minimum order quantity?
3pcs. Sample sets are available if you want to test the wheel on your own floor first.
Do you supply OEM and wholesale orders?
Yes. We manufacture as an OEM diamond cup grinding wheel supplier and supply wholesale quantities to distributors. Colour, logo and packing are customizable.
Grinding hard concrete on a large machine?
Send us your machine class and the surface you are grinding. We will confirm whether this 125mm double row wheel is the right one, or point you at a better match.
OEM and wholesale enquiries welcome. We reply with the wheel specification and a sample plan.
