1 Diamond Bitter Clay Abrasives

It is made of silicon carbide abrasive, magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride. For the use of silicon carbide, green silicon carbide is better, and black silicon carbide will be relatively cheaper. The particle size is generally from 16 to 1200 mesh, and the hardness of the produced grinding stone ranges from hard to soft.

Advantages: low cost, good self-sharpening, strong processing adaptability, can process granite, marble, artificial stone, ceramic tiles, etc.

Disadvantages: The processing efficiency is low, and the production cycle is relatively long. The grinding head needs a lot of pressure when it works, and it is a conventional grinding tool. After the storage period of this grinding block exceeds one year, various properties will change, such as self-sharpening, softness and hardness.

2 diamond grinding tools

It is sintered by diamond abrasive.

Advantages: Suitable for most stone grinders, fast grinding speed.

Disadvantages: It is easy to gnaw the stone seriously, and the follow-up numbering is more cumbersome.

3 Ceramic Abrasives

It is made of silicon carbide abrasive mixed with glass and sintered at high temperature. It is characterized by good durability, but it is easy to block, cause grinding and slippage, and the cost is high, so it is less used now.

4 Metal Bond Abrasives

It is made by sintering diamond and metal powder. It is characterized by high processing efficiency and good processing effect. Generally, the number starts from 50 mesh, and the coarse-grained abrasive tool of 20 mesh should be carefully selected, otherwise it will be difficult to process after coarse scratches appear. In addition, the finest particle size should not exceed 400 mesh.

This tool is most effective for finishing rough surfaces and can produce a satisfactory surface. The cost is a bit higher than the abrasive tools introduced before, but its processing efficiency is unmatched by ordinary abrasive tools.

5 Silicon carbide resin abrasives

It is made of silicon carbide abrasive mixed with resin. There are pressing types of phenolic resins, and casting types mixed with liquid resins.

Mainly used for fine grinding. The pressed type is characterized by good durability and good wettability during grinding. Especially when processing marble, the grinding luminosity is good and the efficiency is relatively high, but the cost is relatively higher, and the fine-grained grade is mainly used.

Phenolic abrasives are easy to color when grinding and polishing light-colored stone, which is the main reason why they cannot be widely used.

Casting is similar to grinding stones mixed with fine silicon carbide powder and other materials and resins. It is mainly used for polishing of granite, terrazzo and concrete.

6 diamond soft abrasive

Diamond soft grinding disc is a new type of tool used for ground renovation in recent years. Its lightness and unique softness make it have good adhesion to the processed surface. The available particle size ranges from 20 mesh to 3000 mesh.

This kind of grinding disc uses diamond as the abrasive, which is light in weight and can effectively protect the soft part of the stone surface during grinding, and the processed product has high gloss. It is connected by nylon hook and loop during operation, which is convenient and easy. And there is good room for growth.

7 Resin Bond Abrasives

Resin bond grinding disc is made of diamond single crystal, micropowder and resin. It is characterized by lower cost than metal grinding disc and high processing efficiency. It is mainly used for fine grinding to polishing of stone. It is a continuous grinding and polishing tool after metal grinding disc is ground. . The cost is relatively moderate.

8Thickened and refurbished abrasives

It is an abrasive tool formed by casting and high temperature treatment with abrasives and bonding agent. It is widely used in the grinding and grinding optimization stage of the overall grinding of the ground. It is characterized by good grinding performance and superior leveling and grinding performance.

9 dry grinding discs

Abrasive tools are molded by casting, pressing and baking, using artificial diamond as abrasive material, using high-temperature resin binder. Widely used in dry grinding and polishing of stone surfaces. It is especially suitable for the corner grinding of wall stone and ground stone.
