Four industrial belts of diamond tools in China

After years of development, China has formed four diamond tool industrial belts, Quanzhou, Ezhou, Danyang and Shijiazhuang. Each city has formed its own industrial advantages by relying on the industrial belt, and has become a strong force in the development of China's diamond tool industry, making outstanding contributions to the development of the world's diamond tool industry

 

As we all know, Fujian has the largest stone processing base in the country. It is precisely because of the prosperity and development of the stone industry that has driven the rapid development of the related industry diamond tools. There are more than 100 production bases of diamond tool enterprises here, with a relatively independent and complete production chain, and has developed into one of the main production bases of domestic diamond tools.

One of our production bases is located in Shuitou Town(Quanzhou CDT Tools Co.,Ltd.), the famous hometown of stone. In its early years, relying on the Shuitou stone market, it provided professional diamond tools for Shuitou stone processing, gained a certain market share, accumulated a lot of experience in the diamond tool industry, and laid a foundation for going global in the future.

However, for a long time, there has been a large brain drain in diamond enterprises here, a relatively lack of innovative talents, slow technological innovation, small production scale, and weak industrial base. These problems are the main reasons restricting the development of the base industry.

 

 

After more than 30 years of development, the diamond tool industry in Yanji Town, Ezhou, which was once prosperous, has turned from prosperity to decline. With the guidance of the relevant departments of Ezhou Municipal Government and the arduous efforts of entrepreneurs, the diamond tool industry in Yanji Town, which has withered for ten years, has grown slowly.

In recent years, Yanji people who have mastered many core cutting tool production technologies have started to invest in factories across the country, and have formed three "Yanji cutting tool towns" in stone production bases such as Laizhou in Shandong, Shuitou in Fujian, and Yunfu in Guangdong. Industry experts said that the diamond tools in Yanji Town are at the forefront of international tools. Yanji tools have been exported to Japan, South Korea, Russia, Italy and many countries in Southeast Asia, with an export value of more than ten million dollars. In the future, Yanji Town enterprises will take Yanji tool brand to the international market.

 

Since the 1980s, Zhenjiang Danyang has begun to develop the export industry of hardware tools. The whole city of Danyang, which is dominated by the later lanes, has an annual output of nearly 3 billion fried dough twist drills and more than 60 million diamond saw blades, which has developed into the largest production base of diamond saw blades and drill bits in Asia.

Tiangong Group and Feida Group, the leading enterprises in the hardware tool industry in Danyang, have strong strength and lead the local hardware industry to develop steadily. However, there are still problems to be solved in the development, such as low technical content of products and weak profits.

 

Shijiazhuang's diamond tools are mainly sold in the domestic market, supplemented by foreign markets. The exported diamond tools are mainly saw blades, and the products are mainly engineering thin-wall drill bits, sintered grinding discs, small saw blades for construction and decoration. Boshen Tools Co., Ltd., Fushihua Jikai Diamond Tools Co., Ltd. and Xiaobee Tools Group Co., Ltd. have an annual output value of more than 100 million yuan.

According to the prediction of the superhard material branch of the Machine Tool Industry Association, Shijiazhuang diamond saw blade has reached 25 billion yuan in the foreign market. However, as far as the current market is concerned, the prospect of domestic diamond tool export is still very broad.
