Granite mine resources in China are all over the North and South of the Great River. Within and outside the Great Wall, 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions have granite mines, most of which have been developed. From Heihei and Jinma drills in Fengzhen, Inner Mongolia, to Hainan Province, which produces Yazhou Red; From Liaoning, which produces Dandong green, to Xinjiang, which produces Tianshanlan, and Xizang, which produces Chinese white jade, it is a great country with outstanding excellence.
Flame cutting
The so-called flame cutting method is to use diesel fuel as fuel and compressed air to assist combustion. Under elegant action, the nozzle atomizes diesel fuel and forms a high-temperature flame. The air in the inner high-pressure nozzle sprays out the flame at high speed and sprays directly onto the rock, so that the thermal force on the surface of the rock quickly breaks the rock and forms rock debris. At the same time, the high-speed air flow blows away the rock debris layer by layer, breaks it up one by one and forms a groove, thus the rock material is divided.
This method was mainly popular in 1970s and is theoretically very suitable for siliceous stone mining. However, this method can only cut cracks in the vertical direction and cannot be used for horizontal cutting. Therefore, when using this method alone for rock mining, natural horizontal joints are also required, otherwise independent mining can not be carried out.
In addition to its limited functions, compared with other mining methods at present, this method also has some major defects, such as large noise, more dust, low cutting efficiency, irregular waste, internal injury, large waste of resources, it is impossible to cut when encountering ore body fracture layer, at the same time, it also needs to consume a large amount of diesel fuel and the cutting cost is high. At present, this method has been basically eliminated in most domestic stone mines, but it can still be seen in some small workshop-type mines.
In addition, this method still exists in some foreign countries where mining technology is relatively backward, especially in Central Asia. This is mainly because this method also has some real advantages: high efficiency, flexible working position, large limit cutting depth and large single cutting area.
