Precautions for use and maintenance of diamond saw blade

1、 Installation steps of saw blade;

1. Cut off the power supply of the cutting machine;

2. Clean the dirt on the flange and saw blade;

3. During assembly, pay attention to the matching between the motor shaft and the central hole of the saw blade, and install it according to the correct rotation direction marked on the saw blade, otherwise the sharpness of the saw blade will be greatly reduced;

4. Fix the self-locking lock cap tightly. Before connecting the garden, turn the saw blade to check whether the saw blade is installed correctly;

5. Before cutting, idle for a few minutes. After confirming that there is no swing or jump, test several knives on the refractory brick or silicon carbide before normal operation.

 

2、 Maintenance and repair

1. If there is glaze or paint or other adhesive on the saw blade (diamond segment), remove it with grinding wheel or abrasive paper;

2. Do not use the saw blade for grinding or curve cutting. The normal function of the saw blade is for linear cutting;

3. The diamond saw blade is used to quickly cut granite, marble, concrete, cementitious materials, ceramics, bricks, quartz stone, pebbles, artificial stones and other non-polar non-metallic hard and brittle materials. It can also be used to cut asphalt, cinder blocks, soft cement, mortar joints and other soft materials. Do not cut metal, otherwise it will blunt the saw blade and shorten its service life;

4. If the surface of the saw blade is smooth and the bare leakage of diamond is less after it has been used for a period of time, the saw blade is not sharp.

Correct method: use grinding wheel or refractory brick to re-blade, so as to remove the part wrapped by metal matrix(steel blanc), make the diamond come out normally, and improve the sharpness of the saw blade. Do not continuously use the polished saw blade or the overheated saw blade.

 

3、 Safety warning

1. Install a protective device on the saw blade to enable it to cut safely and effectively protect the operator;

2. Wear a face protection device that is easy to breathe to avoid inhaling excessive dust;

3. Don't wear too loose clothes to avoid being caught in the rotating saw blade;

4. The cutting depth shall be deeper than the material being cut;

5. Cut according to its maximum speed;

6. Do not force the saw blade to pass through the cut material, and cut at a uniform speed according to the sharpness of the saw blade;

7. Fix the cutting material when cutting;

4、 Principle of correct use

1. Before use, confirm whether the saw blade is damaged. If it is damaged, it is forbidden to use it! All cutting machines must be equipped with protective covers;

2. Fasten and install the saw blade according to the rotation line indicated by the saw blade. It is strictly forbidden to cut the saw blade by curve, force or overheat;

3. Operators must use protective goggles, protective masks, work clothes, protective shoes and other labor protection appliances;

4. The responsive saw blade should be selected according to the stone performance;

5. Cooling water shall be used during cutting. There is no special requirement for water quality. The water supply must be sufficient when it is critical, otherwise the service life and sharpness of the saw blade will be greatly affected. When circulating water, please pay attention to the clarity of the cooling water.

6. The saw blade becomes blunt in the cutting process. Please grind the blade on the waste silicon carbide or refractory brick.
