Diamond saw blade is a cutting tool, widely used in the processing of hard and brittle materials such as stone, concrete, prefabricated slab, new and old roads, ceramics, etc. The diamond cutting blade is mainly composed of two parts; Substrate and cutter head. The matrix is the main supporting part of the bonded cutter head, while the cutter head is the cutting part in the use process. Diamond saw blades can be divided into the following categories according to the manufacturing process:
1. Sintered diamond saw blade: It is made by pressing and sintering, including cold pressing sintering and hot pressing sintering.

2. Welding diamond saw blade:

There are two kinds of welding: high-frequency welding and laser welding. High-frequency welding uses high-temperature molten medium to weld the cutter head and the substrate together, and laser welding uses high-temperature laser beam to melt the contact edge of the diamond segment and the substrate to form a metallurgical combination.

3. Electroplated diamond saw blade: The blade powder is attached to the substrate by electroplating.

 

The diamond saw blade can be divided into the following categories according to the shape of the diamond segment:
1. Continuous edge diamond saw blade: It is generally made by sintering method. The bronze bond is often used as the base matrix material. When cutting, water must be added to ensure the cutting effect, and the type of gap can be cut by laser.

2. Blade type diamond saw blade: sawtooth is broken, cutting speed is fast, suitable for dry and wet cutting methods.

3. Turbo-type diamond saw blade: combines the advantages of the first two items, and the sawtooth continuously presents turbo uniform convex and concave, which improves the cutting speed and increases the service life.

Different kinds of diamond saw blades are selected for different materials, and different powder formulations are suitable for the characteristics of different materials, which have a direct impact on the quality, effect, qualification rate and even cost and benefit of the material products.
