Recently, a patent named "A Preparation Method of Ti Plated Polycrystalline Diamond", with publication number CN119952049A, was displayed in the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
The patent abstract shows that the present invention relates to a method for preparing polycrystalline diamond coated with Ti, comprising the following steps:
- Step 1: Clean the surface of the diamond with an acidic solution, then treat it and dry it;
- Step 2: Mix the processed diamond evenly with Ti powder, Cu powder, and catalyst in a container;
- Step 3: Then load the mixture into the firing boat and place it into a quartz tube;
- Step 4: Heat up the heat treatment furnace to a certain temperature, push the quartz tube into the furnace, and keep it warm;
- Step 5: Cool to 500 ℃ with the furnace, pull out the quartz tube, and air cool to room temperature;
- Step 6: Remove the burning boat from the quartz tube and sieve to obtain titanium coated diamond;
- Step 7: Using titanium coated diamond micro powder as raw material, the purified titanium coated diamond micro powder and sintering aid are encapsulated in a molybdenum sleeve for sintering. After purification treatment of the surface and cross-section of the sintered sample, it is analyzed;
The present invention has the advantages of improving bonding strength, reducing high-temperature damage, good bending strength, and increasing service life.
