Working principle of diamond selection machine

Diamond sorting machines usually combine the vibration principle to achieve automatic classification of diamonds.

 

The following are the basic steps of the machine's operation:

1. Feed: First, unsorted diamonds are fed into the sorting machine's inlet via a vibrating plate or other means. At this stage, the diamonds are dispersed into a single layer, ensuring that each diamond can be individually inspected.

2. Sorting Execution: Finally, under computer instructions, a robotic arm or other automated device places the diamonds into the corresponding containers according to the specified categories. Some advanced sorting machines can even perform preliminary quality checks during the sorting process to eliminate substandard products.

 

3. Report Output: After sorting is completed, users can obtain a detailed statistical report, including information such as the number of diamonds in each category and average quality, to help optimize inventory management and sales strategies.
