Recently, Sinopec Oilfield Equipment Corporation (SFM) achieved a new breakthrough in the Algerian market by securing a multi-million yuan order for diamond drill bits from Sonatrach, Algeria's national oil company.

In 2023, SFM signed a three-year framework agreement with Sonatrach for the supply of roller-cone drill bits. The recent order represents an additional procurement outside the original framework scope and includes the first bulk order for diamond drill bits. In Sonatrach's core operational blocks, SFM's diamond drill bits successfully passed two rounds of rigorous field testing. They efficiently completed drilling tasks for the designated intervals, achieving a continuous drilling run of 1,251 meters at an average rate of penetration (ROP) of 31.91 meters per hour. This performance shortened the planned schedule by 35% and set a new ROP record for the block, earning high praise from the client and laying a solid performance foundation for this bulk procurement. Adhering to an integrated service philosophy of "one solution per block, one optimization per operating condition," SFM's technical service team precisely analyzed drilling conditions, selected the optimal drill bit products, and dynamically optimized drilling parameters. Through full-lifecycle, professional, and customized services, the team executed the framework agreement tasks to high standards.

Leveraging a mature international market supply coordination mechanism, SFM fostered seamless synergy between R&D and manufacturing. By meticulously verifying technical details and dynamically optimizing production schedules, the company won client approval. In the North African market-long dominated by high-end international brands-SFM has established a strong brand image for Chinese petrochemical equipment through its professional, full-lifecycle services.
