Split Pcd Diamond Grinding Shoes

Split PCD diamond grinding shoes are trapezoid floor grinding blocks fitted with two split PCD segments. Broken PCD abrasive particles are integrated into the diamond tool head, which gives the shoe a much stronger grinding force than a conventional diamond block. That makes it the practical choice for rough grinding and leveling of epoxy flooring, and for aggressive stock removal on concrete and terrazzo.

The shoe body measures 76 × 12 mm and carries two 40 × 10 × 10 mm split PCD segments. It is available with M6*3 holes for SASE machines, 9mm*3 magnetic holes, and 6 holes for Blastrac grinders, so one shoe body covers the three most common floor grinders on site. Color, logo and segment specification can all be customized for OEM and ODM projects.

How the split PCD segment works

PCD is harder and more impact-resistant than conventional diamond grit. Because the broken PCD particles stay exposed in the matrix under load, the tool keeps its cutting force during rough leveling instead of glazing over the way a standard diamond block can. Two separate segments on one shoe also improve debris clearance and reduce heat build-up, so the tool grinds efficiently without loading the floor surface.

Where split PCD grinding shoes are used

These shoes are used for aggressive surface preparation on professional floor grinders, wherever a standard diamond block is too slow or glazes over:

• Epoxy floor removal – stripping epoxy coatings and leveling the concrete underneath, where the coating layer would stall a conventional diamond block.
• Concrete floor grinding – rough grinding and leveling of new and old concrete floors, including uneven pours and patched areas.
• Terrazzo floor grinding – heavy grinding and surface preparation before the finer stages of the sequence.
• Coating and adhesive removal – removing paint, glue, mastic and other stubborn coatings before renovation or new finishes.

Common sites include warehouses, factory halls, parking garages and commercial buildings. Thanks to the trapezoid body and the three hole patterns, the shoes mount on SASE, Blastrac and magnetic plate machines.

The shoes are packed in cartons with foam protection as standard. Private-label cartons, printed labels and shipping marks can be produced as required. Please confirm the quantity per carton and the carton marks before production.
