The four core technologies of high-speed rail are high-speed locomotive technology, track technology, tunnel technology, and operation and control technology. The high-speed rail technology requires the grinding height difference of the track plate to be less than 0.2mm accuracy, and the grinding accuracy of the rail should also reach 0.1mm.
The construction and daily maintenance of high-speed railways require a large number of specialized grinding machines and high-speed track grinding locomotives for high-speed track plates, as well as high-speed and efficient diamond grinding wheels and resin grinding wheels for track plates.
Introducing superhard abrasives into the field of rail grinding wheels, the use of superhard abrasives in rail grinding wheels achieves the goal of controlling the formation of martensitic white layer and diagonal cracks on the surface of the rail after grinding.
From traditional theoretical knowledge, high-speed rail tracks are made of black metals such as steel. CBN should be used as an abrasive for polishing. However, in practical applications, adding diamond abrasives as well as abrasives such as silicon carbide and corundum will increase the grinding effect of the grinding wheel used to polish the railway tracks.
