Diamond grinding wheel is an abrasive tool with natural or synthetic diamond as the main abrasive, which generally consists of diamond abrasive, binder and matrix with through holes in the middle. Diamond grinding wheels are very hard, so they are ideal for grinding high-hardness materials. They are mainly used for processing hard and brittle materials such as cemented carbides, glass, ceramics, semiconductor materials, stone and other special materials.

 

Diamond grinding wheels are generally divided into the following types:
1. Diamond resin bonded grinding wheel is sintered with resin bonded grinding wheel.
2. Diamond metal-bonded grinding wheel, also known as diamond bronze grinding wheel, is sintered with metal-bonded grinding wheel.
3. Diamond ceramic bond grinding wheel made by sintering or sticking ceramic bond;
4. Diamond electroplated grinding wheel, the abrasive layer is coated on the substrate by electroplating.

1. Diamond abrasives are sharp, so the grinding efficiency of diamond grinding wheel is high. The grinding ratio of diamond grinding wheel to common grinding wheel is about 1:1000, and the wear resistance is relatively high.
2.Diamond resin grinding wheel has good self-sharpness, small heat during grinding and is not easy to block, which reduces the phenomenon of work burns during grinding.
3. Diamond abrasive particles are uniform and very fine, so diamond grinding wheel has high machining precision, mainly used for finishing, semi-finishing, knife grinding, polishing and other processes.
4.Diamond grinding wheels are almost dust-free and meet the environmental requirements of modern industry.
