1: Used as mosaic material
Mosaic is a very ancient decorative technique. Its principle is to create unique artistic patterns by cutting and assembling stones of different textures and colors. 03. Used as a Concrete Admixture

04. Manufactured into Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks

Its typical density is 500-700 kg/m³, which is only 1/4-1/3 of clay bricks and sand-lime bricks, and 1/5 of ordinary concrete, making it one of the lightest types of concrete. It is suitable for infill walls in high-rise buildings and load-bearing walls in low-rise buildings. Using this material can reduce the self-weight of the entire building by more than 40% compared to ordinary brick-concrete structures. Because the building's self-weight is reduced, the seismic damage is less, thus greatly improving the building's earthquake resistance.
The main raw materials for making autoclaved aerated concrete blocks include lime, fly ash, slag, gypsum, cement, sand, foaming agents, bubble stabilizers, and regulators.
5. Manufacture of Autoclaved Sand-Lime Bricks
Autoclaved sand-lime bricks are made from sand and lime as the main raw materials, with the addition of pigments and admixtures. They are produced through raw material preparation, pressing and molding, and high-pressure steam curing. This is a mature, high-performance, and energy-efficient new building material, suitable for load-bearing walls in multi-story mixed-structure buildings.
Industry tests have shown that with appropriate technical measures, autoclaved sand-lime bricks with a strength grade of 15 or higher can be produced using granite powder waste from stone processing plants. Utilizing this powder waste to manufacture autoclaved sand-lime bricks is undoubtedly an economical and effective method to address environmental pollution in the stone industry. It not only offers good economic benefits but also has profound social significance in terms of energy conservation, environmental protection, and resource recycling.
