The working mechanism of diamond-ordered saw blades.

In the traditional manufacturing process of diamond saw blades, several steps are basically used, including mixing diamond and metal powder, granulation, forming, sintering, etc. Diamond is randomly distributed in the matrix, which is prone to accumulation and segregation, resulting in insufficient grip of the matrix on the diamond in the diamond accumulation area and detachment, and excessive load in the diamond scarce area causing abnormal breakage and detachment of the diamond.

Based on the drawbacks of traditional diamond saw blade manufacturing methods, our company has improved and developed the technology of diamond ordered arrangement, and developed and produced diamond ordered arrangement road saw blades, wall saw blades, ring saw blades, and diamond steel-concrete drill bits.

The key to this technology is controlling the diamond particles on the cutting edge of the saw blade to form a continuous V-shaped cutting angle (the cutting angle is between 15 and 60°, see Figure 1). During the cutting process, the debris generated by the two diamond particles at the front of the V-shape flushes the diamond particles at the back of the V-shape, thus causing the diamond particles on the saw blade to protrude quickly, resulting in a high cutting speed for the saw blade.

1. The diamonds in the cutting edge of the diamond segment are arranged in an orderly manner.

The diamonds are distributed layer by layer at a certain interval along the height of the saw blade. When the protrusion height of the diamonds in the previous row reaches 1/3 of the diamond particle size, the diamonds in the next row begin to protrude. This process is repeated row by row, as shown in Figure 2. This arrangement allows the matrix to protect the embedded surface of the previous row of diamonds, delaying diamond failure. This cycle continues until the last layer of diamonds along the height of the saw blade is consumed, thus maintaining the sharpness of the saw blade from beginning to end and achieving a long cutting life. The controllable and uniform distribution of diamonds in the saw blade ensures high cutting efficiency and stability throughout the entire cutting process, significantly reducing cutting energy consumption and noise.
